Charles O. Robinson (president of Elizabeth City Cotton Mill) and Ivy Blades Robinson, first owner.
Historical note:
The residence provides one of North Carolina's best examples of the Southern Colonial style home. The home was built by William B. Blades for his daughter on her marriage to Robinson.
