Written on verso: Here are the sectional and national winners in the 1946 National 4-H Dairy Production contest who attended the 25th Anniversary National 4-H Club Congress. Seated, left to right, are sectional winners, Francis Pressly of Stony Point, N. C. and Margaret Freudenthal, Hillsboro, Oregon; and national winners, Joe Gersick, Jr. Pueblo, Colo.; and J. B. Barnard of Towanda, Ill. Standing are sectional winners, Maynard Lang, Brooklyn, Iowa; William H. Hill, Woodbine, Maryland; and national winners Charles O. Sauerman, Crown Point, Indiana; Brice H. Bender, Colby, Wisconsin; Paul M. Fischel, Heuvelton, N. Y. Thomas Henry White, Murfreesboro, Tennessee was the only national winner in the dairy program, sponsored by Kraft Foods Company, no present at the Congress. Each National winner will recieve a $200 college scholarship.
