About
The Project
Since its launch in 2010 the Student Leadership Initiative has sought ways in which to more fully connect users with university history, enrich university archives by adding personal narratives, demonstrate the breadth and depth of leaders produced by NC State University, and positively impact learning and research in the NCSU Libraries Special Collections Research Center. This multi-year program has chronicled the experiences and impact of former student leaders through the collection of video oral histories, biographical essays and digitized images. Through these interviews the larger tapestry of college life at NC State has begun to emerge. Please take some time to <%= link_to "explore excerpts from our interviews", '/videos' %>. We hope that these rich tales of the student experience and of the events and people that have shaped the university will be an invaluable resource for alumni, researchers, and students.
