Woodhouse, W. W., Jr. (William Walton), 1910-1990

Biographical Note:
Professor for the Department of Soil Science beginning 1936. He was named a Fellow of the American Society of Agronomy and received an Award of Merit from the American Grassland Council in 1967. He earned both his B.S. as well as his M.S. from NCSC. He received his Ph.D. from Cornell. In 1980, Woodhouse D.W. Colvard referred to Woodhouse as an "agronomist and soil scientist with the Department of Agronomy and North Carolina Agricultural Experiment Station."
