- Biographical Note:
- Ivan D. Jones received his Ph.D. in Agricultural Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota and immediately joined the faculty of North Carolina State College in 1930. Employed as Professor of Research and Teaching, Jones stayed with the University until his retirement in 1970. Jones was a member of various professional societies and acted as consultant to such organizations as the United Nations Special Fund.
