- Biographical Note:
- Edward Lamar Cloyd received both his B.S. and M.S. degrees from North Carolina State College. In 1918, Cloyd joined NC State University’s faculty as Instructor of Mechanical Engineering. In 1921, Cloyd became the Dean of Students at NC State.
