Breeders Release Board records, 1960-1964
Description:
This folder contains office records related to decisions made by the Breeders Release Board, which was established "to review performance records of new germ plasm development by the Experiment Station as referred to it by the Director of Research and to advise the Director regarding the desirability of release of such new germ plasm." The records include meeting minutes, memorandums and correspondence, requests for release of germplasm, research materials, reports, and notices of release of germplasm. Plasms reviewed and accepted by the Board include tobacco, corn, cotton, and soybeans.
