This folder contains two memorandums of agreement made between the North Carolina Agricultural Experiment Station and the Carbide and Carbon Chemicals Company Division of the Union Carbide and Carbon Corporation. The agreement made between the institutions involved the Union Carbide and Carbon Corporation contributed finances so the Agricultural Experimental Station's researching of the effect of herbicides on peanuts, to benefit developments in chemical weed control.
