National Winners--These four 4-H Club members were named winners of the 4-H National Dairy Cattle Judging Contest Monday (Oct. 16) at the North American Dairy Show, Columbus, Ohio. Competing as North Carolina 4-H Champions, the Tar Heel team won over 33 other state teams. Members of the team are (left to right) Cathy Church, Rt. 5, Statesville; Sue Stamey, Rt. 6, Statesville; and Jimmy Sloop and Donald Rape, both of Rt. 1, Mt. Ulla. W. R. Marlin, Rowan County assistant agricultural extension agent, (right) was one of the coaches. The other coach, Dr. John H. Nicolai Jr., extension dairy husbandry specialist at N. C.
