Title:
Electrostatically Charged Sprays and Dusts :: Fertilization Studies
Description:
Contains two drafts of a paper titled "Electrostatically Charged Sprays and Dusts," authored by NC State Professors W.E. Splinter and H.D. Bowen, and presented at the 1963 Beltwide Cotton Production-Mechanization Conference. There is also a reprint of an article based on that conference paper titled "Electrostatic Charging Offers Improved Chemical Deposition," reprinted from Agricultural Chemicals, April, 1963 and written by Splinter and Bowen. The conference paper and article discuss the benefits of using electrostatic crop dusters for applying plant pesticides.
