- Joining the team late in the season due to his role on the basketball team, Brackman still had time to go 4-0 with a 2.25 ERA as a starter. He allowed more than one earned run in a game just twice in ten appearances in 2005. In a game April twenty-ninth against UNC he struck out twelve in just seven innings of work.
